I am the rain drop

I am the rain drop,

That fell from the skies unknown,

That rolled down from the rooftop,

That held on to the eaves,

That saw her gloomy on the porch,

That gently fell on her cheek and kissed her,

That she touched lightly,

That crumbled into her cheeks,

That felt the warmth of her smile,

And I am that rain drop that made her smile.

So simple and yet so true. Touching and beautiful.
